Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be gambled on in casinos all over the globe, or in your house on your home computer, through an Internet connection. The game of Video Poker starts when the bettor inserts credits (either tokens, tickets or money) into the video poker machine and presses the draw button. A five card hand will then be "handed out" on the screen.

After the gambler has chosen which cards she would like to retain, the player will then press ‘deal’, which will mean that any fresh cards will be needed they will be dealt. The game is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands shown on the payout schedule.
Generally, the lowest succeeding hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payment schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that experienced gamblers are agile enough to choose the most profitable ones every time.
After the initial round has completed, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that has been won. Additionally, a few versions of the game give the player a chance to double their profits, in which instance a further game is played. There are also variations among individual games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying aspects to enhance playability.
