The Electronic Poker machine also has hold buttons, and enthusiasts should now choose which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the player wishes to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons need to be pressed so that they illuminate. The player can decide to keep any number of cards they wish, whether it’s all or none.
After the enthusiast has decided on which cards she wishes to keep, the player will then press ‘deal’, which will mean that any new cards are dealt if desired. The game is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands shown on the pay out schedule.

A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can vary from game to game, so that knowledgeable players are able to pick the most money-making game every time.
Once the initial round has finished, the player can either choose to continue on and try to to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Further, some versions of the game allow the gambler a chance to increase their wins, in which case a further round is played. There are also differences among specific games, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
