Video Poker is a popular game that usually will be enjoyed in casinos across the world, or alternatively at your house on your PC, using a web connection. The rules are absolutely simple and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards possible in order to acquire money. The game is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands printed on the payment schedule.

Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It goes without saying that the pay out schedule can range from game to game, so that skillful bettors are able to pick the most profitable ones every time.

As soon as the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to stay on and try to to increase their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that might have been won. Further, a few styles of the game give the bettor a chance to double their wins, in which case a further game is played. There are also variations between specific machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
