Video Poker is a popular game that can be played in casinos around the world, or alternatively at your house on your computer, through a web connection. The rules are absolutely straightforward and consist of the player trying to get the best assemblage of cards achievable in order to win cash. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can range from game to game, so that knowledgeable gamblers are able to select the most profitable game each time.

After the first round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that they may have won. Additionally, some versions of the game allow the bettor an opportunity to double their profits, in which instance another round is played. There are also variations among individual machines, with some virtual decks including wild cards and other varying characteristics to enhance playability.
